Neste supplying sustainable aviation fuel to Emirates

Neste and Emirates are joining forces to advance sustainability in aviation.

Neste has commenced supplying sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to Emirates at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, with plans to deliver over 6,000 tons (2 million gallons) of blended SAF throughout 2024.

This partnership marks one of Emirates' largest purchases of SAF to date and signifies a significant step in reducing emissions. Moreover, Neste aims to supply SAF to Singapore Changi Airport in the coming months. The use of Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel™ offers a promising solution, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional jet fuel.

Both companies are committed to sustainability, with Neste striving to make its Porvoo oil refinery in Finland the most sustainable in Europe by 2030, and Emirates continuously enhancing its operations to minimise environmental impact.
