What is your role at ECOFRY?
Business Manager
When did you start working at ECOFRY (Sydney Recycling Services) and where were you before you started this role?
“I commenced my role with Sydney Recycling Services in June 2023, prior to the rebrand to ECOFRY. I have over 25 years of experience in sales roles, with the last 15 years spent supplying the food service industry, with baked goods. Prior to my current role, I was the Business Development Manager for Goodrop Oils in NSW, supplying premium cooking oils so I can confidently say I know a thing or two about cooking oil solutions.”
Why do you LOVE working at ECOFRY?
"I enjoyed a good working relationship with the team at Sydney Recycling Services prior to commencing my role here. I have a great deal of respect for my colleagues and I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the rebrand to ECOFRY. Being instrumental in launching an additional part of the business has been incredibly rewarding! I love looking after our customers, building relationships with them and supporting them throughout what has proven to be a tricky food service landscape in recent years. We love our work and the services we provide and working with the people I do, makes it truly satisfying.”
What do you do when you aren’t working at ECOFRY?
"When not working, I love spending time with my family and friends as much as possible. This includes my partner Belinda and my dog, Archie. I enjoy most sports, including motorsports, cricket, and tennis and I play lawn bowls. I also love to travel when I can, which often takes in a couple of rounds of the Supercars season, but my favourite travel destinations are Hawaii (USA) and Port Douglas (QLD, Australia)."
What is your favourite cuisine?
"My favourite cuisine is Vietnamese, and I would love to visit Vietnam one day and sample the cuisine first hand!"
In your opinion, what sets ECOFRY apart from our competitors?
"What I believe sets ECOFRY apart from our competitors is not only our Elite Frying Oil, but also our level of service and rapid response to customer queries, our innovation in customer solutions and our collective years of experience supplying and servicing the foodservice industry. We also have a clearly defined path in upcycling used cooking oil to biofuels and aviation fuel. Innovation meets sustainability."
